ADDITIONAL TERMS FOR MOBILE APPLICATIONS
The following terms apply specifically to mobile applications published by Appgil ("we", "us", "our", or "the Company") on app distribution platforms such as the Apple App Store and Google Play (the "Mobile Apps"). The Mobile Apps include but are not limited to Calorly: Calorie Counter, Flash Translator: AI Translate, and any other applications Appgil publishes from time to time.
1. Mobile App Functionality and Data Usage
Our Mobile Apps are designed to provide utility-based functionality. Certain applications may access user content (such as photos, camera, microphone, health data, or location) solely for the purpose of delivering the core features of the app. Access to device content is limited to what is strictly necessary for the app's functionality. Wherever possible, data processing is performed locally on the user's device. We do not store or transmit user content to our servers unless explicitly stated, and only for the express purpose of providing the requested feature.
2. Permissions
Our Mobile Apps may request permissions on your device, including but not limited to: Access to photos or media library Access to the camera Access to the microphone Access to Apple HealthKit data (with explicit user consent per category) Notifications (if enabled by the user) App Tracking Transparency permission (iOS)
Permissions are requested only when necessary for core functionality and can be managed or revoked at any time through your device settings (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security, or Android Settings → Apps). Revoking a permission may limit certain features of the Mobile Apps.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features within our Mobile Apps may require a paid subscription. All purchases are processed through the platform provider (e.g., Apple App Store or Google Play). We do not collect or store your payment information. Subscription state and entitlements may be processed through RevenueCat (see Section 4 below). Refunds are handled exclusively by the platform provider and are subject to their respective policies.
4. Analytics and Third-Party Services
We may use the following third-party services to operate, secure, analyze, and improve our Mobile Apps:
RevenueCat — subscription management, entitlement verification, and revenue analytics Google Firebase — analytics, crash reporting (Crashlytics), performance monitoring, and product analytics Singular — install attribution, marketing analytics, and SKAdNetwork conversion measurement Google Cloud / Generative Language API (Gemini) — for AI-powered features such as photo recognition or translation; data sent to this service is processed only to deliver the requested feature and is not retained beyond what is necessary Apple HealthKit — used only with the user's explicit category-level consent, exclusively for reading and writing health-related data the user has authorized
These third parties may collect technical identifiers (such as device model, OS version, advertising identifiers where authorized via App Tracking Transparency, and anonymized usage data) in accordance with their own privacy policies.
5. No Account Requirement
Our Mobile Apps generally do not require account creation or sign-in. Users interact with the Mobile Apps anonymously, identified only by a randomly generated device-level identifier maintained by the relevant SDK. Where any future feature requires authentication, separate sign-in terms will be presented.
6. Data Minimization
We collect only the data necessary to provide and improve the Mobile Apps. We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with third parties for their direct marketing purposes.
7. Children's Privacy
Our Mobile Apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in the relevant jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us using the details below and we will take reasonable steps to delete that information.
THE INFORMATION WE COLLECT FROM MOBILE APP USERS AND PURPOSE OF USE
We collect non-identifiable aggregated information ("Non-Personal Data") about your device and your use of the Mobile Apps. In addition, in limited cases we may collect data that identifies a user or may identify a user, which is classified as Personal Data under applicable law.

Online identifiers: device model, OS version, app version, language, country, IP address (truncated where possible) Advertising identifiers: IDFA (iOS) or AAID (Android), collected only after the user grants App Tracking Transparency permission on iOS Usage data: which features of the app are accessed, which screens are viewed, when (anonymized event timestamps) Subscription state: whether the user holds an active subscription, which product, trial vs paid (collected via RevenueCat) Photo / camera content (for apps with photo features): processed locally on the device or sent to AI services solely to deliver the requested feature; not retained beyond that purpose Health data (for apps with HealthKit integration): only the specific data categories the user explicitly authorized, processed locally where possible

Subscription records are retained for tax and accounting purposes for the period required by local regulation. Anonymized analytics data may be retained longer to support trend analysis.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational security measures to protect Personal Data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure, or access. These measures include encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls on internal systems, and contractual data protection obligations with our third-party service providers.
